WELCOME
Tikitaly is an event that blends art, music, cocktails and people involved in the fascinating world of Tiki, hosted in a prestigious and unique location on the sea. A full weekend packed of activities to virtually fly the public to a Polynesian island and breathe its magical atmosphere to fully experience the Tiki lifestyle in every way.
WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT
A selection of some of the best international tiki bars, represented by their loyal and top bartenders, will present their signature cocktails and recipes, each one featuring its peculiarity and soul, with particular attention to the rum-based mixology, juices and spices.
During the 3 days, some tiki carvers will create sculptures in realtime starting from a piece of wood, showing the daily progresses and showcasing their own techniques and inspirations through dedicated symposiums and seminars.
International bands and djs will preform throughout the weekend on the outdoor stage featuring lounge, exotica, surf music and more, starting from the early afternoon. And certainly some shopping will be possible in the dedicated market area with several selected vendors: from aloha shirts to records, from tiki mugs to wood and bamboo items and much more.
THE CONCEPT
Tikitaly is a marriage between the “Tiki culture”, of American origins since the 30s and inspired by the Polynesian history, and the “made in Italy” brand with its quality tradition. The event therefore wants to compare the different schools in order to provide a complete showcase of the modern tiki mixology, integrating the European contribution to the “art” of the American tiki masters, all surrounded by the elements that fit in the tiki picture like music, painting, sculpting, dancing and photography.

THE LOCATION
The event, far from street traffic, will take place on the Terrazza Mascagni of Livorno, next to the Livorno Aquarium building (open between 10am and 5pm during the event). The location can be easily reached by flight (Pisa airport about 30 minutes away – Firenze airport about 1 hours away), by train (Livorno Centrale station) and by car. |

DANIELE DALLA POLA (Italy / USA)
He is currently one of the world’s top names in tiki lifestyle and mixology, a sophisticated expert of exotic cocktails through which he has been describing for more than 10 years the colorful and exciting Polynesian universe.
MARIE KING (Don The Beachcomber, USA)
She is an internationally renown rum and tropical cocktails specialist with a life dedicated to tiki and and mixology. Today she is the beverage director at “23 Restaurant Services” (Don The Beachcomber) after ben for years the soul of Tonga Hut, the oldest tiki bar in Los Angeles.
GEORGI RADEV (Laki Kane – London)
He is the co-founder of the Laki Kane Cocktail Bar & Tapas restaurant in London, specialized in rum, tiki mixology and everything tropical.
DAVIDE MITACCHIONE (Italy)
With an experience of more than 20 years ago in Italy and abroad, he is moved by a great passion for anything sugar and rum. He participated to many competitions including being in the finals of the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition in 2018
DIRTY DICK (Paris)
Scott Schuder has been bartending in Paris for 23 years. Originally from the Mojave Desert, he took over the world famous Dirty Dick, opened in 1934 as a Brothel and now Paris favorite tropical cocktail bar. Matteo Braguti, the manager, comes from Verona, and literally grew up in the bar industry. Scotty and Matteo work keep TIKI spirit alive!
RITA’S TIKI BAR (Milano, Italy)
Born as a younger brother of Rita Cocktails – the historic American bar in Milano founded by Edoardo Nono in 2002 – Rita’s Tiki Room is an authentic cocktail bar in Polynesian, Hawaiian and Caribbean style. Founded in 2019 by Edoardo Nono and Chiara Buzzi, the bar is a destination with a concept fully dedicated to tropical, cuban and tiki mixology.
LUAU TIKI BAR (Bari, Italy)
A concept bar born in 2015 from the love for bartending to recreate the atmospheres and style of the traditional American Tiki bars, mixing here and there Mediterranean elements.
KAONA ROOM (Miami, USA)
Kaona Room in Miami, crafted by the legendary Daniele Dalla Pola, is a hidden tropical gem where rum, culture, and cocktails collide in a vibrant spectacle. Designed and built with the help of Paul “Tiki” Campese and Daniele’s son, Billy Dalla Pola, who now passionately “rums” the place, this bar has become a rum lover’s paradise. NU LOUNGE BAR (Italy)
Founded in 2000 by Davide Cavallari, Daniele Dalla Pola, Elena Esposito and Maurizio Gerosa, who put their national and international experiences together, Nu Lounge is a cocktail bar in the center of Bologna offering the customers a unique experience. Over the years, the professional growth of the team led by Daniele Pola allowed for greater specialization and the NU LOUNGE BAR embraced the TIKI culture, becoming one of the most important TIKI BAR in the world.
EMANUELE CODISPOTI (Italy)
He started working as a professional bartender in 2000. He soon discovered and entered the Tiki world, traveling and exploring every tiki bar in USA. He has been a guest bartender at The Hukilau in Fort Lauderdale for 3 years.

Well known writer for “Bar Giornale” and expert of the art of drinking, Stefano has been defined an explorer or an astronauts, always in search for the true cultural aspects related to history of cocktails. This research brought him around the world to visit the actual places where cocktails were born.
SVEN KIRSTEN
Born in Germany in 1955 and later transplanted to California, he is now a teacher, curator, photographer and expert writer and connoisseur of the tiki world, or as he defines himself: “an urban archaeologist”. His propensity for working with lights and videos has led him in the past to collaborate with famous artists such as Tom Waits, Sergio Mendes and Robert De Niro. Today he is focused on promoting his text “Book of Tiki”, a true bible in terms of tiki culture.
JOCHEN HIRSCHFED
Munich-based globetrotter, filmmaker and photographer under the pseudonym Van Hagen, with an unbridled passion for cocktails, art, rum, and all-round tiki culture.
PAUL CAMPESE (Tiki Campese)
Paul is a self-made painter and sculptor inspired by Polynesian art and mid-century modern. With the years he also specialized in designing custom tiki mugs and masks, participating to many events worldwide.
IVAN CASTRO
Ivan Castro is an ex-graphic designer based in Barcelona, Spain, who specializes in calligraphy, lettering, and typography. His work involves everything from advertising to editorial, and from packaging to logo design and gig posters.
